latest covid-19 shipping updates

UNITED KINGDOM/EU UPDATES:

As of July 01, 2021, physical products that are being sent to the EU will now incur import VAT (Value Added Tax). All physical goods, valued at 150 Euros or under, being sent to a customer in an EU country will incur the import VAT charged by that country.

If you are a UK/EU customer, please note that you have 2 choices when purchasing a product from me:

Choice 1:

- You may choose to purchase my products on my Etsy Store instead. Etsy has signed up for a 'Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS)' which is an electronic portal that allows customers to collect, declare and pay the VAT during checkout instead of paying the VAT when the goods are physically imported into the EU.

- This will mean a much faster and more clear way of purchasing because all expenses including VAT and shipping will be calculated for you in one go.

- However, the down side is not all products are available on my Etsy store due to copyright issues i.e. my Ghibli Shaker Keychain.

Choice 2:

- You may still choose to purchase on my own website here, however I must stress that you are responsible for any import VAT, taxes and fees. You will need to pay these when the goods are imported into the EU. This may result in severe delays and packages could be held at customs.

- I will not be able to know how much you will need to pay to cover the VAT, taxes and fees, therefore I will not be responsible for the final amount of money you will be paying. I would recommend purchasing the products on my Etsy store to avoid any confusion and delays.

 

CANADA UPDATES:

As of June 07, 2021, all air mail services to Canada has been resumed. This will mean faster shipping and delivery times, but still subject to delay due to Covid and customs.

DUE TO LATEST COVID-19 UPDATES, MAIL SERVICES TO CERTAIN DESTINATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO DELAY.

Owing to insufficient air traffic capacity provided by airlines, it may take extra time in waiting for air allotment to convey airmail items to certain destinations, even though Hongkong Post has completed the handling procedures after posting. In addition, local postal operations at the destinations are still under the influence of the pandemic and delays in mail delivery are expected.

EXTRA TIME REQUIRED IN WAITING FOR AIR ALLOTMENT:

Asia:

Mainland China: ~1 week

Singapore: ~1 week

United States: ~2 weeks

Australia: ~2 weeks

Europe: ~3 weeks

Please note that air letter and packet services and air parcel services to the following major destinations are still suspended: Brazil, Japan, Korea, India, Israel, Malaysia, New Zealand. Surface Mail is still available.

Please note that all postal services are suspended in: Peru and Russia

I apologise beforehand if your packages are delayed but unfortunately, the situation is out of my control and I would advise you to choose tracked shipping where applicable.

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING METHODS?

When you place an order you will have two types of shipping options (unless stated otherwise due to COVID-19 i.e some countries do not offer air mail, only surface mail). Each option for various destinations will indicate an estimate of how many working days it will take for the items to arrive to you. Standard shipping is regular air mail which will be faster and surface mail is by sea mail which will be slower but at a cheaper cost. You will be presented with both untracked and tracked shipping options.

DO YOU SHIP TO MY COUNTRY? HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

 

I ship worldwide however due to COVID-19 certain international services are disrupted or temporarily suspended. Postal services to major cities remain normal. I ship from Hong Kong so you may click here to see if your destination may have service disruptions. 

 

To check the price of your shipping, you can enter your address on the checkout page. Don’t worry, you will not be charged until you officially place your order. ٩(。•́‿•̀。)۶

 

CUSTOMS + DUTY FEES

Please be aware of your country’s customs and duty fees that may be applied to your order upon receipt. Any import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These will be the buyer’s responsibility. I am not responsible for delays due to customs.

 

HOW FAST IS SHIPPING?

Due to COVID-19, please expect some delays in shipping. Once your order is processed, it will take:

 

♡ Domestic: 2-3 working days

♡ International: Ranging from 10 days – 3 months*

 

*You can find out a more specific time range for your country in the check out page when you opt for various shipping methods. You will not be charged until you officially place an order. Delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose, and all packages are subject to customs delays.

*Please note products going to Canada will ONLY have Surface Mail available - this may mean your products will take longer to get to you (2-3 months)

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SENT OUT?

Please allow 2-4 business days to process, package and ship out your order.

 

MY ITEMS STILL HAVEN'T ARRIVED, CAN YOU PLEASE CHECK FOR ME?

Unfortunately if you did not purchase tracking, there is not much I can do about this. Packages can take up to a few months if held by customs, or end up being returned to me. I will not be responsible for items not arriving and will not be able to give you a refund/reship unless tracking was paid for. If you purchased tracking, please track your package through Hong Kong Post with the tracking number provided. 

 

WHAT'S MY TRACKING NUMBER?

You should receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been processed and shipped. Please allow up to 48 hours for your tracking information to be updated.

 

DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS/EXCHANGES?

All sales are final, returns and exchanges will not be accepted.



REFUNDS 

Refunds will only be given within the first 24 hours of placing your order. After that unfortunately no refunds will be given as a result of shipping times as I have a clear announcement on my shop reflecting delayed shipping times due to COVID-19. It is the buyer’s responsibility to read through the circumstances before purchasing.
